Nita Connelly
Yarrenyty Arltere Artists & Tangentyere ArtistsNita Connelly was born in 1966 in Amata, a remote community in South Australia. When she was ten years old her family moved back to their traditional lands around Pipalytjara. Nita began painting with Tangentyere Artists in 2017, and has painted also with Ninuku Arts, a wholly-Indigenous owned and governed Art Centre which supports artists from two communities – Pipalyatjara and Kalka.
